Letter No. 33

To GDC at Ringsfield. Postmarked - Wickham Market - April 2nd 1871

Laxfield
Monday

My dear George
Just a line to say I could not write yesterday for Father was at Dennington all day taking the Census. He wish me to say you can come to Halesworth on Wednesday when you can meet him there, if Uncle do not go to the sale you must come by train. I hope you are well. Chase took Anna Maria last Wednesday and left her at her Grandmama's till after Easter. A rare stir up with them, I should not think he will take her again, I would not, but you will hear more when you come home. The new harness will be home on Monday. Now with our kind love to all I remain
Your loving Mama

P.S. I have one little goose & the others are hatching & so are the ducks, but one old hen have left her nest with 11 eggs nearly ready to hatch, the boys can't let them rest.
