The House: Lawrenny is on the shores of the Cleddau estuary so it is a perfect base for birdwatching, boating, canoeing or just gentle walks whilst watching the tide come in and out. Open Season: We are open all year round, although for Christmas and New Year we tend to let to groups only. Bedrooms:
The House has a well equipped kitchen with a large oven, 3 hobs, 2 microwaves, 2 toasters, kettles, 2 fridges and a freezer. There are also all the usual pots, pans, utensils and crockery necessary to cook up a fantastic feast or a simple meal. If you don't fancy cooking then there is the local Lawrenny Arms which serves food all day, and for lunch the Quayside Cafe, just a leisurely walk away down at the water's edge. Lounge: We have a large open plan lounge with tables and chairs, a small lending library and various board games. A great place to catch up on the day's events. |
Shopping: There is a community village shop in Lawrenny which is open every day and supplies everything from newspapers, bread and milk to meat, vegetables and frozen foods. Car parking: We have a large car park to the rear of the House. Smoking: For the comfort of all our guests smoking is not permitted anywhere in the House. Facilities: We have modern showers and toilets, and a drying room for soggy towels and swimsuits, or if you happen to get caught in the Pembrokeshire rain, everything! Outside there is undercover secure cycle storage, and a patio area with picnic tables where you are welcome to install your own barbecue. In the building there is a payphone which also takes incoming calls. An adjacent village hall is available for hire and also a 15-seater mini-bus is available for hire by the day. Additional information: There's walking, boating, birdwatching and village life on your doorstep and you're very close to many of Pembrokeshire's top family attractions including Oakwood, Folly Farm and the new Blue Lagoon waterworld plus of course the wonderful beaches of south Pembrokeshire. Horse-riding is available just 5 miles away at The Dunes Riding School. A bit further afield there are great surfing beaches, coasteering and kite-surfing.
